Google will introduce a new feature to Android users to compete with other messaging apps.

Similar to the WhatsApp group chat, the group chat feature in Google Messages will also be available to the users.

Google said that these will also have end-to-end encryption security. This feature is currently available

to beta users. Google says that it will be made available to general users after testing.

message, a lock symbol will appear in place of the send button. Clicking on it will send the message to others. 

These conversations will be done through Rich Communication Services (RCS). Google says that no one except the sender and the receiver can read the conversations. 

Along with this feature, Google will also introduce the emoji reaction feature in Messages. With this, users can respond to messages sent by others with emojis.
