5.   Device linking security update.

Whatsapp has raised the protection by adding an additional layer…On your laptop or desktop when you try to open WhatsApp with your phone it can be possible only with this additional layer. An additional layer is nothing but fingerprint and face recognition.

Whenever you try to open your WhatsApp on laptop or computer you can't open it until you give access to your mobile by giving access to fingerprint or face recognition.
